Credit risk analysis with data visualization using Power BI

Project description: U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loan analytics based on the loan records for the year 2005 through 2010, to review the internal lending guidelines for small-medium enterprises under Commercial Banking in order to minimise default risk.

1. Data collection

2. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and data preparation via Power Query

• Perform feature engineering, i.e. create and derive new measurement SBA_guarantee%, loan status, industry code etc.
• Remove anomalies, inconsistencies and outliers
• Clean unwanted data that won’t add value to the analysis
